Background information, technology and principles of the i-HEALTH® Systems modules.

1. EDA: electro-dermal assessment: the diagnostic aid.

By means of skin-resistance measurements the problems in the vegetative regulation are identified. The skin-resistance measurements ( often referred to as electro-puncture diagnosis or electro-dermal assessment, EDA). After each EDA-measurement the results are shown in easy to interpret graphs. The present situation can be compared with those from earlier visits. Reactions to therapies can be evaluated immediately after their application. With this evaluation-option one has a tool for quality control or quality check for the therapy. Hypothesis for causes of ilnesses can be tested by using nosodes, suitable medication or ortomolecular substances.

Skinresistances are measured at the beginning- or end-points of the meridians ( Ting-points). These measurements show the capacity of each individual meridian to regulate its specific functions. An enormous scientific effort that was part of the research programs for the Bhuran, Mir and ISS-flights, resulted in algorithms and norms that describe the regulation of the meridian-network.

The measurement takes less than 60 seconds and is as reliable as the measurements of blood-pressure, EEG, ECG, etc. The reliability and reproducibility has been confirmed by several scientific studies. The measurements can be delegated and are easy to learn.

Because of the spring-loaded probe and the minute DC-current ( < 0,4 μA, en varying between 1,2V to 17 V depending on the resistance) a very reliable measurement is guaranteed. The device and the procedure hardly influence the condition of the acupuncture point or the meridian and the influence that one can discern is only short lived, i.e. 10 to 30 seconds. The device is powered by a 1.2V battery and is therefore galvanically separated from the powergrid. A glassfiber is used for the communication with the computer.    

The measurement-range is from 0Ω to 17.800 KΩ. This range can be expanded, but we have not done that because with higher resistances the resistance of the surrounding air is measured and not that of the patient. At a relative air humidity of 50%, the resistance between the probe and the passive electrode can be < 9.000 kΩ).

EDA-medication test

The human body does sense the very weak electro-magnetic fields emanated by substances like food, ortomolecular substances, homeopathic remedies, drugs, nosodes, etc. The reactions to these very weak electro-magnetic or skalar-fields can be registered with the eda-measurement without the patient having to take them in but by having the substance in the direct vicinity or by holding them. When there is constructive-resonance the energies of affected meridians increase, when there is destructive resonance the energies drop. Presciptions with favourable effects can be discerned from substances that will have adverse effects. In this way one can make a blue-print for the treatment and their dosage. Even combinations of substances can be tested for their combined efficacy. Unfavourable reactions and the so called 'by-effects' are prevented in this way. Superfluous or harmful medication can be excluded beforehand.

2. Raymedies: digital libraray with signals for lightpen and beamer.

The meridian-network can be seen as a complex energy-flow with electro-magnetic characteristics and coordinating effects. The raymedies can be superimposed on this energy-flow, reprogramming the existing energy-pattern with magnetic waves and rhytmically changing colours. With the raymedies one gives an influx of electro-magnetic energy by means of pulsating magnetic fields or rhytmically changing colours.Free of side-effects. Far below the limits as set by the international commission for protection against non-ionizing radiation (ICNIRP).

 Research by i-HEALTH, using thermography and skin-resistance measurements to verify activating and sedating effects on stress-levels, has shown specific relations between colours on the one hand and each dermatome ( body-segment linked to a vertabra ) and acupuncture-points at the other hand. for example, blue light has a sedating effect on one function but contrary to conventional knowledge, a sedating effect on another. Yellow after blue has another effect than blue after yellow. For each dermatome, meridian and function, different response mechanisms operate and this is influenced by the disease too.

For each meridian and many acupuncturepoints and many complaints we have investigated the effects of various colours and their rhythmic changes with rapid response thermography, eda-measurements and registering changes in complaints over time. For the regulation of the different types of stress with simultaneous occurring infections, intoxications, traumata, scarss etc we found combinations of frequencies and colour-sequences. This was a research and development process of many years and nowadays we have a digital library for the regulation of the vegetative-system. The effects of these signals can be checked with the eda-measurements immediately after their application.

3. (Rapid Response) Contact thermografie:

The thermography module is used to find quickly and automatically the most effective raymedies. While selected raymedies are sent one after the other, 6 very sensitive thermo-sensors register the minutest reactions. The signal with the most significant influence is spotted automatically by the computer. In this way the frequency of the galvanic current or  raymedy is found that has the best coupling with receptors in the body. That is why we can use extremely low intensities and short exposure times. The thermographic scan is the basis of the autogene frequency therapy (AFT), to identify the best raymedy, for the interactive zap-scan and for micro-current therapy. This system has been developed by i-HEALTH (then called Raytec) and has been patented internationally. Contact Thermography is an established technique that is being used in an innovative way.
